Festulolium
Lolium x Festuca Pratense
Varieties of Festulolium are obtained by crossing perennial or Italian ryegrass and meadow fescue. Festulolium combines winter-hardiness and forage quality as can be expected from this crossing. It establishes quickly and produces good forage in the spring. Festulolium is a good species to include in forage mixtures.
