Royal Barenbrug Group today announces the appointment of Mr. Alberto Goñi as General Manager for Barenbrug Argentina. Alberto will join Barenbrug on July 1, working closely alongside Eduardo Bayley, interim manager since December 2019. He will assume the responsibility as General Manager effective September 1, 2020.
Alberto has worked in Argentina as Commercial Manager for Tecnoseeds since 2016. He previously held various technical and senior leadership positions at DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto in the USA, mainly in the corn and soybean businesses. Alberto comes from a background of family farming, particularly beef cattle farming and grass seed production. He holds a BSc degree in Agronomy and Crop Science.
