Barenbrug USA appoints Justin Burns as new CEO

The Royal Barenbrug Group, a world leader in grass technology, today announces the appointment of Justin Burns as the new CEO of Barenbrug USA, effective 1 May 2023. The current CEO, James Schneider, will leave Barenbrug on 1 June 2023.

James Schneider has overseen a period of significant expansion for Barenbrug USA. Highlights of his tenure include the acquisition of Jacklin Seed, the implementation of the added-value growth strategy, and the expansion of the company’s R&D programme. On leaving Barenbrug USA, James will pursue a career as a financial advisor and business consultant.

 

His successor, Justin Burns, will officially take up his new role on 1 May 2023. Justin has been with Barenbrug USA for 11 years and has held a variety of management positions within the company. These include Forage Sales Manager, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Vice President of Sales (Pro Divisions).
