Marjolein Willeboordse - van Noorloos joins the Board of Directors of Royal Barenbrug Group

Effective April 1, 2023, Marjolein Willeboordse - van Noorloos will join the Board of Directors of the Royal Barenbrug Group. As of July 1, she will take over the responsibilities of René van Raan, who will retire after almost 32 years of working within the family business, including the last 14 years as a member of the Board of Directors.

Marjolein joins Royal Barenbrug Group from the listed company AkzoNobel, where she most recently held the position of Global Finance Director Manufacturing. She has broad international expertise in financial control, IT, compliance, reporting, post-merger integration, and ERP implementation. Before joining AkzoNobel, Marjolein held various financial positions at VodafoneZiggo, including Senior Business Controller, Director Corporate Control, and Director Finance Operations.

 

With the appointment of Marjolein, Barenbrug adds new expertise and competencies to its four-member Board of Directors. She will work closely with René van Raan during the first three months of her tenure to ensure a smooth handover.
